Dear Barack Obama

Black people put our hope and trust in a man who we didn't know. But because we believed him to be our "Brother", we went out and almost unanimously supported Barack Obama's presidency.

Since his election, he has supported the gay community, the Israeli community, and to some extent the Hispanic community. However, when it comes to the interests of the Black community he has not only been absent, but often in direct conflict with our wishes.

It's time we take an honest look at Mr. Obama and his record as related to Black people worldwide.
