Footsteps of The Emperor is a TV program narrated by Benjamin Zephaniah in 1999,

The Video includes archival footage and accounts of Bath residents who met Haile Selassie

The Video is set in Newbridge, Bath, England, which was the residence of His Imperial Majesty, Haile Selassie I, Emperor of Ethiopia, during the five years he spent in exile (1936–41).

Following his return to Ethiopia, he donated it to the city of Bath as a residence for the aged, and it remains so to this day.

There are numerous accounts of "Haile Selassie I was my next door neighbor" amongst people who were children in the Bath area during his residence.
